Brand
Why the best brands start with a single sentence
Positioning is less about what you say and more about what you choose to leave out.

Every strong brand can be summed up in one sentence. Not a tagline — a plain, honest description of who you help, what you change for them, and why you are the right people to do it.
Start with the sentence, not the logo
When teams skip this step, the identity work becomes a debate about taste. When the sentence is clear, design decisions get easier: colors, typefaces, and tone either support the idea or they don’t.
A simple test
Read your sentence to someone outside your industry. If they can repeat it back in their own words, you have a foundation worth building on. If not, keep editing — it is the cheapest design work you will ever do.
